HOLLOW BRICK ROOFING SYSTEM
1. Find out the width of
the room where you want to lay the roof.
2. Calculate the number of Clay channels to make up the width and
lay them on a flat surface.
3. Place the steel rods in the two grooves of the Channel and fill
the grooves with a rich cement mortar 1:3
4. After three days days the Clay channels will form a beam which
could be placed in a spacing of the roofing brick.
5. Place the Roofing brick in between the beams as shown in the
picture and cast the concrete (1:2:4) so that the clay channels
are covered by a minimum of 4cm of concrete.
6. The system can be used for flat decks as well as sloping roofs.
The screed concrete is not needed in the case of decking.
